The lobby was nice and renovated. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Where do I start smh, If you stay at this hotel I recommend making sure it's in the renovated part.
-We were in building 2 which was not update which was shocking compared to what the lobby look like.
-When driving to building 2 we didn't realize we were there until we got to the back of the building where the number was. Once you go in you have to walk all the way to the other end for the elevator.
-The fridge in our room barely cooled.
-The AC wasn't fully working. It was on 71 but the room was 73, I had to change to 69 for it to come on.
-The furniture in the room looks really date and nothing like the picture on the listing (I guess those are update rooms)
-The shower head was messed up and water was coming out the side so you had to be careful while showering to prevent getting your hair wet.
-I check out the bar and the drink were good but food was not worth the price. Paid $11 for salad and $6 for chicken which was thin and not worth the price. I also got a club chicken that had the same thin piece of chicken and was not worth $16.
-It stated breakfast was included but when I went to the restaurant I found it was not free but instead a menu that you must pay for. Which that is fine but maybe update the post to state that.
We end up only staying one night when we were booked for 3. I checked out early and book a hotel down the street that was better when comparing the two. I guess this is normal for this location since I was informed by a local that was in my training (reason for my visit to the city) that her family booked this location and experiences the same issues.

Breakfast and location r both great. The facilities and pool area are lovely.
Negatives:
The blackout curtains in the bedrooms do not close. Only the sheers on the windows would close. When I called the front desk to ask how to close the blackout curtains she said "they aren't meant to close". The room is very light without those curtains available to block light.

Parking is a bit weird and they do not have doggy stations around the building that is holding dogs but does allow pets which was odd there wasn’t any.
