Hotel is centrally located in Lakeland. The pool is nice for sunny days.
Negatives:
Housekeeping did not do what we were told it would do during our 7 night stay, despite us literally asking the front desk three times. Our sheets were never changed (supposed to be changed after 4 nights). The bed was supposed to be made every other night. They made it the second morning. On day six, they attempted to make it with a pillow in the middle and did not tuck the blankets!
Also, several nights that we were there, a large school group was there. All of the students were out in the halls and lobby be very loud well past reasonable hours. We asked once at 10 pm & another night at 11 pm, if something could be done. At this point a young man working the front desk went around individually asking them to quiet down. I really think a manager should have been on top of this much earlier in the evening. In the morning, there was no room for us to eat breakfast, because the students ate their breakfast, but congregated in the lobby before & after. Again, a manager should have opened a meeting room for them to have breakfast, so other guests had somewhere to be.
In total, we were very disappointed in how much we paid and the service that was rendered.

The interior of the room was nice. Good beds

It was noisy. It would be so much better if the doors had quiet closers on them. Also, we were 2 rooms away from the ice machine (5th floor) and that thing is crazy loud. I could hear it making ice from lying in my bed. There were a ton of kids while we were there (dance competition) so they constantly ran up and down the halls. Lastly, it's super irritating that you would have to pay for parking. I've never experienced that before. That should be part of the room rate. Breakfast was meh.
