The staff and accommodations are wonderful. We received texts during our stay to see how it could be improved by staff which was really attentive and nice.

The AC went out on our second day which made sleeping uncomfortable when it was 84 that day.

Pool and gym access is very easy and towels are provided for people with pool usage for free.

I asked special requests for extra bed, and set two rooms asides, but none of them are granted and they recognized them when I checked them out. Also when I checked out, the lady mentioned about two rooms but only gave me one room key, and didn’t recognize it until i waited and asked for giving me second room’s key, which I felt unprofessional.

What I like about the property is that it is centrally located to food & shopping.
Negatives:
I didn’t like that the property didn’t notify the guest in a timely matter that water would be shut down from 11p-5a. It just so happen the day I checked in I didn’t get to Atlanta until 10p so I didn’t check in until 10:40p to learn I have NO WATER at 10:40p for the next 13 hours is unprofessional and inconsiderate. Had I been alerted of the issue I could have found other accommodations. Also the kitchen- room service closes too early. Considering it’s a lively hotel and the bar stays open later it be again considerate to have a late night menu - food service.

Not much the lobby was cool and the shampoo smelled good. That was about the only positives I can give it. Completely average room and bathroom.
Negatives:
Oh boy what can I say. I’ve stayed at nicer hotels without the “luxury” title tacked on for half of the price. It’s unclear before you get to the hotel that you’re going to have to pay either $35 to self park every night or $55 for the valet parking option. Another thing they don’t mention before you stay is that along with the $50 hold that most hotels do they hold an additional $200 for everything you MIGHT use during your stay. This $250 also can be held for up to 10 days after you leave. After a couple days of leaving the hotel I was returned the money which was pretty good but almost a week after my stay they charged me another $250 to my card. I called in to see what it was for and they couldn’t give me any explanation as to what the charge was or how it could’ve happened. I love this city and think you should still visit here but there are a TON of better options at better price points don’t let the “luxury” in the title lull you in to thinking that you’re going to be staying in one of the best hotels in the city.
