Our room was huge! Not sure if we got upgraded or not, but it was fantastic for 4 girls. Also the free breakfast is a huge bonus.

The housekeeping just didnt come for a couple days. One day we were in the room with the sign on the door which is fine, but there were a couple days we should have received service and didnt.

the staff was awesome, everyone was really nice. the location was good, close to the beach. the daily breakfast was pretty good too.

the room itself was less than awesome. the bed was smaller than it was supposed to be. the pillows were cheap flat feather pillows that gave zero support. the ac only worked when it wanted to and the thermostat wouldn't go under 68. one of the worst things was the water pressure in the shower was really low.. like ridiculously low.

It was within walking distance to the beach and shopping center.

It only has 2 elevators and we had to wait for up to ten or more minutes before we were able to get on. It also doesnt have a parking lot, so we would have to park elsewhere.

The room was dated but clean and comfortable, with a very small balcony.
Staff were friendly.
In the evening there is good take-away food from a selection of food trucks in the side street - Thai, Korean, Mexican, etc,
that was easy and convenient after being out all day.
Negatives:
The breakfast buffet was poor, it was on level 3, at the outside pool area. We were quite shocked at how minimal the food was was and the disorganized system.
The pool itself was clean but had the bare basics for furniture and no plants or greenery whatsoever.
Not a welcoming place for breakfast.
There is an additional $US 41/ day charged by the hotel for the use of beach towels, beach chairs etc . It does include an appetiser at the bar (not sampled by us) and $5 /day towards purchase of a snack
This charge should be made clear at the time of booking.
