Positives: The hotel is well-situated. It is fairly close to the Shedd Aquarium, Chinatown, Millenium park, etc. The rooms were clean and decent too. I appreciate that I could control the temperature in my room easily. There was a microwave, keurig and mini fridge in the room, as well as an iron and an ironing board. These are always handy to have.
Negatives: The valet had a hard time keeping up with the comings and goings of cars. We had to go around the block to find a space to park in front of the hotel at check-in. There aren't enough trolleys as well to help carry the luggage from car to room. Hotel stay between 4pm to 11am is a bit short for the price we pay. And when I asked, 'late check-out' was not an option.

Positives: The location is phenomenal. I appreciated the ability to check in a bit early. The pool area was very nice.
Negatives: I had difficulty understanding the instructions given by desk staff and was unfamiliar with how to operate elevator security and the television. The room phone did not work to contact front desk, and I waited three hours for an engineer to help me.

Positives: The best part of the stay was the EXTREMELY helpful staff. During my stay, I had some extremely rude and obnoxious neighbors. While the hotel can't control who stays there, the staff - Especially Gustavo - really helped to resolve this professionally and quickly. I think as a traveler one of the things you want to know is "How will the hotel handle unusual but unpleasant situations?" Gustavo was amazing, and really made things right.
Negatives: They were weirdly protective of their "free breakfast." One of my days I was refused entry into the banquet hall. It also was below the quality I'd expect. The sink in the bathroom would always spill water everywhere. Very minor concerns overall.
