Positives:
The room was very spacious with a lovely view.
The bathroom had everything one needs, and I could relax in a real bath instead of shower!
Neighbourhood was lively but quiet enough in the evening to sleep.
Negatives:
Nothing really, breakfast was included but was a la carte in a restaurant separate from the hotel.

The location is great. It's a block away from the Grand Red Line stop. Walkable to all things downtown Chicago. The facility is clean. My room had bottom to top windows so the views were great!
Negatives:
Both during my check-in and check-out times, there was only 1 person working the front desk. It was a long delay both times before it was my turn. There should never be just one person. Also, there is no refrigerator in the rooms, so I couldn't bring dairy leftovers. I did bring some pastries back that were thrown out by housekeeping, although they were inside a paper bag on the counter, and not on the floor by trash. I was very surprised and disappointed that my pastries were thrown out.

I like that this hotel is really close to the areas I need to access. The beds are always comfortable and having toiletries in the bathroom is always a plus.
Negatives:
This specific stay was not the best. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, but this time was the worst. The room was clearly not cleaned well. There was a flaming hot cheeto on the floor in the main room, random stuff on the ground in the bathroom, and the shower curtain looked as if someone puked on it recently and was badly stained. There is no mini fridge in the room (which I was aware of) but it still is a benefit that isn't available unless requested. My room also had no TV remote. We had to call the FD for one. I'm not sure if the TV has a cast system or is a SMART TV in some way, but it didn't appear to be. Also, the breakfast listed in all the Booking.com communication says 7:00AM only to find at the hotel it is 8:00AM. That is pretty late for business travelers and I was very disappointed as I planned my mornings around that.
