Positives:
The property is situated in a fantastic location with a plethora of attractions nearby. Most major tourist spots are within a maximum 15-20 minute walk or a quick 5-6 minute drive. The area is upscale and classy, home to prestigious hotels, shops, and restaurants, as well as casual fast-food options. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious à la carte breakfast during our stay.
Negatives:
The bed, although large, was not comfortable. One side was overly firm, while the other was too soft, causing me to sink into the mattress, which made it difficult to move around until I fell asleep or even during my sleep (I weigh about 55 kg). On the other hand, both the room and the bathroom were spacious and comfortable, as we had booked a junior suite.

We have stayed here before. We’ve also tried other hotels in Chicago but decided on this trip that the Sofitel is definitely our favourite and where we will always stay now when in Chicago.
It is comfortable and clean. The staff are lovely. The location is great and the price point is excellent!
