Dirty pool/cold hot tub
Positives:
The breakfast was really good with a variety of offerings. The pool and hot tub was good. Pool water was warm which is great.
Negatives:
The bottom of the pool was rough. My husband’s toes got cut playing in the pool. There was no pool towel and you have to ask for them from front desk. The room was OK size but it needs big updating. The shower curtain was literally falling apart. There were stains on a few of the towels. The body wash soap bottle was almost empty. The mattress for the sofa bed was horrible and old with stains and not very comfortable. There were extra sheets for it but no extra pillows. The ceiling and the walls were thin and we could hear the people upstairs walking around all night long. The bathroom has no ventilation and the humidity was horrible after a shower. The road noise was also a problem. The older front desk lady was cranky and seemed angry when we asked for things we needed like towels and pillows for our room and the pool. For a Holiday Inn I was expecting higher standards.

Positives:
Pool and hot tub, near all of the attractions, room was perfect size for family of 5. Staff was kind and check on was quick.
Negatives:
The bottom of the pool was rough and sharp. Cut the bottom of two of our feet.

The lobby was a little outdated. The pool was not as clean as I would have liked. As well as the hallways. When we arrived there was a maintenance door open that was a mess and kinda gave us the ick.

Staff was informed, but either weren't trained or were involved. It never ended. I stood behind other people complaining, no hotel member did anything. I emailed the GM, M. Silva, never got a response. Unless you want to get high for free, avoid this hotel like the plague.
