Comfort Suites French Lick

Negatives: The pool and hot tub were out of order. I was not informed of this until 2 days before check in. This was during spring break so its not exactly easy to change plans. There were whisker hairs all over the hair dryer in the bathroom. The refrigerator in the room sounded like darth vader heavy breathing all night.

Negatives: The website advertised a pool and yet it was closed for remodeling which was very disappointing since this was one of the main reasons I chose this specific hotel. Also there was debris all by the door and floors im guessing due to the remodeling but there was lots of broken pieces of wood and concrete etc right by the side entrance where the guests would walk in. Lastly, several doors were open and you could see mattresses turned over and food (specifically eggs and other items) all over some of the floors. My room was fine but it gave the hotel a pretty gross "vibe" if you will. Also the breakfast was subpar even though it was free which was nice. Sausage tasted like turkey sausage and eggs were nasty and soaking wet and tasted like nothing but pure salt. My girlfriend shared the same opinion without me even asking her first so it wasn't just my taste buds. I actually work maintenance at a hotel so I understand how things can be sometimes but there were quite a few things they could've made sure to clean up and whatnot but decided to leave it that way for whatever reason for all to see.

Negatives: The hotel was under renovation and I wasn't informed of this when I booked the room. The pool and hot tub were down so we had to find things to do. French Lick doesn't offer enough things for a 2 year old to do in winter.

Negatives: Wish they would have notified that pool would be closed

Negatives: No free Wifi, TV did not work called front desk they asked me to push red button on the box for a reset, After reset the TV turned on but only for 2 minutes and back to no signal. Called again and I was told the person to help would be in after 11:00 PM. They did say we can move to a diff. room, but we had adjoining rooms, already unpacked and our kids were in and out between the rooms. Also no hot tub or pool as it was under construction so we brought our swim trunks for nothing.

Negatives: The pool and the hot tub was closed. The food could of been better too

Negatives: Although there was no mention of the pool being closed, the pool at the hot tub have been closed since November. The inside of the building is under construction. The stairwell was closed off because it was filled with painting supplies and the halls had the smell of paint fumes. It looks as though the property will be very nice once all the renovations are complete but until that time, do not stay there

Negatives: They are making improvements but hot tub and pool were shut down. Pretty pricey for area.
