Some of the staff was really nice. Especially the beautiful woman with braces. That is why I put three for staff because of her.
Negatives:
This motel got me sick with issues with my breathing and heart failure do to paint fumes in the lobby and rooms from remodeling. I had to go to the ER the first night because I started feeling ill and been sick ever since with issues and coughing!

All the remodeling in the lobby area and most rooms not being available. There was a smell in my room.

The hotel needs to state that its under remodeling. The hotel is filthy and my first impression when arriving was how trashy the outside was with all the old furniture just everywhere. the lobby and breakfast area was completely filled with old furniture and employees sitting in the lobby eating and watching TV. I have to wait for the front desk employee to finish her personal conversation with another employee before I was able to check in. The contractors were blasting music and are very sloppy. paint is all over the floors on the first floor and nothing is being cleaned up after their workday is over. We stayed on the 3rd floor which appeared to be completed with the renovation but has not been properly cleaned. The bathroom floor still had drywall dust all over it. They claim the hotel is "smoke free" but as soon as we stepped off the elevator on the 3rd floor we were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke and a very loud smell of weed.

The location was great and it was reasonably priced , also the location was great.
Negatives:
I did not like the trash being visible the hotel looked closed . The floor we stayed out walking down the hallway it smelled like urine . Our headboard was peeling and it smell old in our room.

It wasn't clean, nothing worked, elevator is too small and it smelled awful. The bed was uncomfortable. TV didn't work properly so we had to change rooms. Breakfast consisted of muffins. Carpet looks like it's 50 years old. They are working to update but maybe they should just close until done.
