Positives:
We liked the breakfast.
We liked the availability of coffee in the front desk area

Staff at front desk were friendly.
Negatives:
-The hot hallways
-The overcrowded hallways with cleaning staff and carts on our floor.
-Electrical work was being conducted with drop ceilings remove from its place. Not very appealing.
-Unfriendly staff in breakfast area. As soon as you came in they practically snatch tickets from your hand.
Review
I was very dissapointed of the location of the hotel. The surrounding area did not look very appealing for tourist. It looked run down. Although we enjoyed breakfast, staff in the breakfast area were unfriendly.
Positives:
The staff are very helpful courteous and friendly. I like a free newspaper in the morning and the free continental breakfast, which has a lot of variety. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, yogurts, pancakes, french toast, toasts, coffee, tea, juices, a helpful friendly staff.
Negatives:
There is a restaurant connected to the hotel, we ate there once and it was awful. I had crab stuffed haddock with mashed potatoes. There was haddock and there was crab covered with a thick layer of cheese sauce which totally ruined the taste of any fish. The mashed potatoes were powdered and AWFUL.
Review
Very good. The location works well for travel north and south. Maine Mall is nearby and driving into Portland and Old Port is very easy.
