I like the location and the kids love the indoor pool and splash pad. As for the adults we appreciate the hot tub and grab and go breakfast.
Negatives:
What we do not like is that there is only 1 microwave for the entire floor to use. They should consider putting them in the rooms.

Clean! The Beatlemania show we saw upstairs was super. The restaurant is good, though a bit high end. Everything is new and shiny in the hotel. My stay was a delight.
Negatives:
If you are primarily going to the beach realize you won’t want to walk over there. It’s only a block but there are many lanes of traffic.

Positives:
its a great location, only a block from the beach and only a few mins. from OC. plenty to do right around the area without going to far, you could walk also if you wanted. did not get to interact with staff other than to check in and check out, but very nice and check in was quick. wifi and cable where great and worked really well for us.
Negatives:
the rooms do not have carpet, so the floors are cold make sure to bring slippers. Shower heads need to be replacing this is the second time we have stayed here and both times the shower head was not working properly. The water just sprayed everywhere. The hot and cold was backwards on the shower also, you had to turn it to cold to get hot water. Hot water was an issue also you had to leave it run for a long while and then it was not really hot. If you take your shower early its a bit better. i would not pay the cost of these rooms in the height of the season if these things where not fixed. coffee pot is a not great in the rooms so we need to go down for coffee in the breakfast area. Breakfast although it was free, it not much but a grab and go breakfast.

The pool was overcrowded by a family that had 10 children in the pool.There was very little supervision. Apparently child pooped in the pool closing the pool that was supposed to open at 8 AM on Sunday where we stood outside for 25 minutes waiting for the pool to open to only ask to find out the pool was not open beautiful pool but if you don’t supervise what’s going on in your facility, you can’t control the behaviors of others. I’m a local I find it renovations have been done are
beautiful but to have my son and his fiancé and then my husband and I come over and stand around waiting for a pool that they had no intentions of opening while they saw us standing there is it disgrace!!!!!
