Positives: The front desk staff were very nice.
Negatives: While the continental breakfast options are wonderful, it would be wonderful if establishments would offer turkey products (for those of us that do not eat pork or beef). Lastly, my check out was on a Sunday... I came for breakfast about 9:00am it was NOTHING available but waffles and yogurt. When I asked if eggs and potatoes would be replenished, a staffer said "It should be, but let me check". She went in the kitchen as asked the person that manages and cooks the food. Her response was very RUDE! .. She said "its GONE! "They" at it all". I think the kitchen may have been overwhelmed by a large group that were staying at the hotel. It indeed was a tad hectic. I will admit, I almost went back to my room because the crowd, noise, and disorder was more than I wanted to encounter so early (while on vacay). However, the company knows in advance how many rooms have been booked and should be better equipped to accomodate large crowds. I was NOT apart of the large party, but I feel the kitchen took their frustration out on everyone that happened to be in the area at the same time. It was awful, I ended up having orange juice and a half of waffle (which is not what I wanted, I asked for hashbrowns)... I noticed "after" the large party exited the eating area, MORE food came out; including POTATOES. So, there was more food, but the kitchen "witheld" the food and penalized EVERYONE that happened to come to breakfast at the same time as the large "unruly" party. While I would stay at the hotel again, I hope that kithchen staff are trained to be more professional... Lastly, I ALSO hope that going forward, they are trained NOT to speak so loudly that customers hear their "negative" opinions. I have intentionally omitted the kitchen staffer's name, but the date was Sunday Sept 24. If staff and management read this, it will not be difficult to identify the actual person.
