The location was good!
Negatives:
The hotel parks their box truck that they use to transport laundry between properties right in front of our room, so we didnt have a lake view like we were supposed to. Instead, we had the view of the side of the truck. The rooms are dark and dingy.

breakfast was not available. The room was either overheated or freezing. Internet was nonexistent. Bedding involved two thin sheets and two half pillows. Thin walls, someones television on one side, a barking dog on the other.

The view and staff were amazing, I got a call to make sure I was ok after checking in, the view from my hotel room of Lake Superior was gorgeous! Room was clean.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the soda machine was out of order, the sidewalks could've been shoveled couldn't tell where the sidewalk ended and parking lot began could lead to a slip and fall

We stay here every month for a night or two to check on aging parents.

Not sure what is going on lately. The rooms are not being cleaned the way they used to. Marks on the bureau from last persons coffee, food on the carpet, change left behind from last person. Im glad I carry Lysol cleaner with me to wipe down room.

Sheets had spots on then,I think they put us in the shed really needs updates. No working vending machines and no lights in parking lot. We hardly had any hot water.

Probably the worst motel breakfast Ive ever had. It was lacking everything even maple syrup for the pancakes. Booked a Lakeview room totally obstructed view.
