Baymont by Wyndham Coon Rapids

Negatives: the shower was broken and the pool and hot tub were closed and not mentioned on website.

Negatives: Where do I even begin . Entrance was dirty dilapidated, I was like ok maybe room would be better . Literally for 3 nights no one cleaned our room . I couldn’t find anyone on the front desk to even talk to or complain. I will NOT recommend this to anyone unless you’re desperate like we were because we had a family member pass away so we had no choice but to get the available motel in this area . Oh and breakfast was bread and bagels which were hard as a Rock. Bagels had been lying there for the days we were there . Worst is booking.com had them on their website .

Negatives: Hard to believe this was a Wyndham. Food in freezer, floors not vacuumed, lights out, no breakfast to speak of, no milk, whole bldg smelled like smoke. Reaction to smoke smell. TV blasted at full volume upon turning on every time. Windows left open, raining in upon entry to room. Very disappointed

Negatives: They are illegally posted, no weapons on premises sign. It violates both MN state law, and US law.

Negatives: The pool & spa were not operational, there was a smell of smoke in the lobby for the "smoke-free" property since the staff were smokers, the continental breakfast only had a selection of different breads with toppings each of the days that we checked with only coffee or milk available. Several people arriving later in the week wound up leaving immediately since ther rooms were not clean by their agreed check-in time late in the afternoon with no housekeeping availble to do it immediately.

Negatives: Was chided for asking for the room with king bed that I booked and confirmed. Was told my booking was not valid and a “trick” online. I was charged $10 more than I agreed on. I requested zero amenities or extras to validate that charge. Claimed I was okay with first room they gave us— yes, I thought it was the room I booked. There was no way of knowing until after we opened the room door that it was not what we confirmed. In 2nd room, sheets were dirty and stained with some type of 3D substance. Shampoo bottle gel was not sealed and half full. Staff were rude to other event attendees who asked for basic things like at least 1 shampoo in the room, room keys that functioned, water not spraying at them from under vanity. One room stunk like pot and the attendees could not stay in it. We returned from the event and staff demanded to know why other event people had not checked in yet…was borderline hostile to us— how should we know??

Negatives: Dirty, stains on sheets, fixtures in bathroom tub coming off, kids killed 4 spiders when we checked in, room was strongly musty, carpet damp, and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Pool was closed down, and appeared to have been for quite some time, but not noted on hotel advertising
