The Sheraton in Downtown Duluth was exceptional. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They provided great assistance for my birthday trip - even giving us a room with an incredible view of Lake Superior. The hotel itself was clean, was within walking distance of SO much, and was comfortable for our weekend away.

Why doesn't a hotel let their customers know in advance when the hot tub and pool are closed? Had I known I would have stayed at one of the other hotels in Duluth.....I was really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub, unfortunately it was closed for construction. I live in the Twin Cities and visit Duluth once or twice a year and I won't be staying at the Duluth Sheridan again--I feel like I didn't get my money's worth and missed out. They also charge $8 a night to park in the ramp--funny, they don't mention that when booking.
