we had to switch rooms after a toilet wouldnt keep running. maintenance came while we were out, left a mess in the sink and toliet didnt work at all, so we switched. after our stay we were billed again despite paying ahead of time. then the refunded amount was incorrect. if it werent for these things, the stay would have been pleasant,

The room wasn't huge, but it was comfortably designed. The bathroom is nice, with a large and pleasant shower. The location is convenient, and was perfect for my meetings in the IDS.
Negatives:
They charged me for internet, despite being a rewards member. (And also, who charges for internet. That's so 2000.) The whole hotel is a little past its best-buy date. It needs a refresh.

The bed was comfortable. The original location of my suite gave me a panic attack and so the front desk moved me yet when they downgraded the room, they didnt tell me they couldnt lower the price of the room. Later they said booking.com would have to do that. I discovered this was not easy yo change on my own at all and now the hotel hasnt responded to Booking.com about the change.
Negatives:
Communication about what the hotel would do regarding the room change vs what Booking would do. I dont even understand how this all works because the charge on my statement is from the hotel so why couldnt they change the price?

The front desk staff that checked me in, Greta, was awesome! I had told her about a previous stay that I had in one of their fancier rooms and how much my partner and I love it there, so she went ahead and upgraded us to a nicer room free of charge because they had a lower occupancy rate that night and she was able to swing something like that. I didn't even ask, she just offered. Loved her. Staff treat the guests wonderfully, especially the ones that return (:
