Filthy, smelled bad, bathroom door off hinges, door to balcony did not open, no pool even though website said there was one, doorframe in lobby appeared to be covered with bloody handprints, we left after 10 minutes, the person at the desk said I would get an email from Booking to get my refund but I never received an email.

Positives:
I didn't realize that there was a pool until we checked out. The hotel would get 5 stars with a total update. The room was clean but dated. The bathroom had your very basic toiletries. I didn't find a hair dryer, but I didn't look too much.
Negatives:
The continental breakfast was ok. They should have tongs for the bagels. You have to reach into a plastic container and easy to touch more than one.

Positives:
Appreciated the updated/renovated rooms, staff were always very nice and helpful
Negatives:
Wife noted facilities outside the room itself just felt dirty, the building itself was notably dated and the conveniences in the room such as tv and refrigerator had to be at least 15-20 years old, no big deal to me but the general atmosphere made my wife uncomfortable just being there, comparable to the shining hallway
