It would have been an excellent stay had it not been for the simple fact that my underwear was stolen by a housekeeper (or someone else) entering my room unannounced. I was traveling alone and did not have company to my room. My stay was from Wednesday night through Saturday morning. On Thursday night I washed my underwear in the sink and left it hanging on the shower curtain rod to dry. On Friday evening returning to the room to repack my things, I saw it was gone. I checked the room and my bag several times. While I feel fortunate that nothing else of greater value was stolen, the fact that some pervert is employed at this high end hotel taking underwear (from a handicap accessible room no less: room 1110) is disgusting.

The hotel is fantastic, staff very friendly, location the best, metro station is 2 min outside the hotel. Also there is a shop next door where u can buy food very convinient. Parking available nearby for 25$ per day, which the guy at the reception suggested me. Hotel is very clean. I would absolutely come back if I would go to New York again.

i like how inexpensive it was to paid for a 7 day trip . The room was ok didnt get the manhattan view , got more of the amtrak and the subway view , but most of the days i was really never in the room so it didnt bother me

only thing i didnt like was that on friday last day there my wife notice that the weed smell was lingering when we got back from our trip in manahtan. it kinda died down but eventurly the weed smell came back but stay threw out the night . i went went down stair to complain abour the smell. overall she said that it couldve been someone in the apartment building next door smoking weed .

Unfortunately you can only wash if you you quarters. 2,5 $ per wash. It would be much better if you could just pay with card.
