The staff were friendly and responded quickly to the one request I made (someone was smoking pot near my room). The beds were comfortable.
Negatives:
The room did not seem to have been vacuumed before our arrival- there was debris on the carpet. The room felt a little claustrophobic- the unnecessary furniture was too large for the space.

They gave us umbrellas because it was a rainey weekend . They also gave a free bottle of wine because we were visitors to the hotel.We got 2 free bottles of water a day and a voucher for a free breakfast. There was a great restaurant next door and a whiskey bar next as well. There also was a rooftop bar.

There was no refrigerator in the room.

From check-in to check-out, staff was wonderful and friendly. I love the older buildings in NYC, because they are QUIET. Room service food was terrific.

Room was a little small, but it was cozy and well-appointed.
