Very good
Positives:
Centrally located, easy to use the subway.
Negatives:
Our room had one window that we couldn’t open due to the garbage outside the window. We were on the second floor.

The room was comfortable although...
Positives:
Bed was comfy and the location was perfect, easy to get everywhere in Manhattan
Negatives:
Our room had 1 small window which didn't get much light so our room remained very dark during the day.
We also had some damaged walls due to damp which wasn't covered or treated.
The bed sheets were nice but the sheets didn't clip or zip together so sometimes I would wake up with the raw duvet on me which wasn't very hygienic

Good location but room didn't...
Positives:
The employees were exceptionally helpful and accommodated an early check in for us. The rooms are comfortable and very quiet for such a central location. The hotel is very close to subway stations too.
Negatives:
The room was very small for two people with two suitcases

Great location and comfortable
Positives:
Decent location.
Negatives:
They claim to have one accessible room, but the bathroom isn't accessible. We had a guest who was a wheelchair user (which had been told to the hotel in advance), and still the shower/bath was not accessible for her to the point that she fell down and hurt herself trying to use it. Appalling that they have the tag 'fully accessible for wheelchair users' and that booking would allow them. In addition, this is the second year in a row that we send a delegation of people to stay there a week and though all deposits are paid in advance, they still ask some of the guest to pay them on arrival - in one of the occasions telling one of the guests that if they did not pay the deposit they would have to leave the following day.

Not accessible to wheelchair users...
Positives:
Comfortable bed, pillows and towels. Great location close to Midtown attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, but still quiet.
Negatives:
Not a ton of space to unpack in the room, but we’re pretty tidy by nature, so able to live out of our suitcases for the duration of our stay.

Great location, comfortable and clean.
Positives:
Location is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lounge area seems to be comfy but I didn’t have time to spend there.
Negatives:
The room is small - I rather have a smaller bed to have more space. The bed and pillows are not very comfy. AC makes loud noises. I can hear noise from other rooms.

Convenient, quality can be improved
Positives:
Location, comfy beds, decor and style, good price for NYC, view from the room (Queen Deluxe). Others have commented on only 1 lift being a problem but we never waited long.
Negatives:
Breakfast was due to start at 7am but the staff were late every day so it was always at least 30 minutes late, while we waited. The first day it was late, the ladies in the cafe were not helpful or apologetic at all and were clearly irritated, but on another day a very friendly man was working and super apologetic about the chef being late, which made a big difference.
Reception staff were uninterested most of the time and occasionally abrupt. One guy on reception was friendly though.
We had a leak in our ceiling which dripped all night when the rain was heavy. We reported it the next morning and were given a voucher for a free breakfast, and told it would be fixed while we were out. When we got back, it had just been dried and the bubbled plaster flaked off the ceiling and cleared up. It didn’t matter too much as there was no more rain forecast during our stay, but I don’t think they should have people in that room until it’s fixed properly. We noticed the ceiling when we first arrived so it’s clearly an ongoing thing.
We booked the Queen Deluxe room as it was described as having bay windows - there were no bay windows. The room was fine but the pictures definitely made it look nicer than it was. Bathroom very basic and toilet seat chipped.
It was incredibly noisy from the street all day and night. Normal for NYC but bear in mind if booking a room with windows.
Website describes it as having continental breakfast but there is none, only the cafe.

Superb
Positives:
1. Location
2. Staff
3. Umbrellas in the room
Negatives:
1. Room size is small, claustrophobic feels (massive bed takes up all the space)
2. No coffee/tea making station
3. Bathroom door was missing at the bottom so any farts and poos were heard in the room easily
4. No fan in the bathroom either
5. The toilet clogged (not from a poo)
6. Hour before checkout we had a knock at the door to tell us to check out (strange)
7. Fridge is too loud (keeps you awake)
Window is small and faces the middle of the building (imagine a brick wall right in front of your window)
8. Room wasn’t super clean. There was crazy dust on the side of the cupboard. Years worth
9. They forgot to change one of the bath towels too
10. Plug locations around the room were useless in regards to where the mirrors were placed

Don’t do it!
Positives:
I liked the location of the hotel, their decoration and the lounge with the coffee shop.
Negatives:
A part of the floor of the bedroom was raised and uneven. Our room was on a second floor and sometimes it would get noisy during the nighttime.

Very comfortable, the staff was...
