Positives: It was in a good location to the sights.
Negatives: When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist Rachel checked us in when she went to take the payment with the card that was already pre-approved said it was declined when she swiped it and we would have to use another card, therefore I had to use my debit card to make a payment. I also asked if we could use the telephone to call the bank, but she said we were unable to use the phone to make any international calls, she was very unprofessional, unfriendly and not very welcoming when we arrived. We also had to put an additional £250, which we were unaware of when we placed the booking. The rooms were very small and the deco was very dark and dingy and did not look like the pictures advertised on the website. Throughout the week, the staff were not friendly and not very helpful. I would not stay at this hotel again or recommend to friends or family.

Positives: Fantastic location - friendly staff - facility and room were very clean. Bonus…our room had a beautiful view of Empire State Building. Would absolutely stay here again!
Negatives: It is what it is in New York City when it comes to parking for hotel check in and check out. I do appreciate that the two spaces available in front of the Hyatt were mostly available for incoming/outgoing customers.

Positives: Bed was comfortable, room was clean and the staff is very kind..location is great and probably good value for New York..very nice that you get free glass of champagne every day..
Negatives: It is not really what you would expect from Hyatt brand and 4 start hotel.but probably same for other brands in NY unless you pay a fortune...so just avarage hotel, it delivers, but no luxury and not very modern room..some issues with heating, it is loud and is motion triggered so it can get cold in the night..
