Positives:
This hotel was in the perfect location- right in between the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, and Times Square. We loved the added touches of the complimentary treats, the Nespresso machine, the complimentary wine in the evenings, the free bottles for water near the elevator, and the extra essentials in the bathroom (cotton swabs, cotton balls, shower cap). The hotel is also very close to a subway entrance (behind the NY Public Library). The text messaging system they use is very efficient and they responded right away when I had requests for extra pillows. I am also a light sleeper, so I loved that the rooms are sound-proofed and I never heard any noises coming from any of the other rooms. The staff was top-notch!
Negatives:
It was not a problem with the hotel, per se, but there was filming on the street and inside the NY Public library next to the hotel right outside of my room window. It got a little noisy at night due to it being a night shoot.
