Positives:
The hotel was well located & stylish. Modern amenities and very clean. Most of the staff were very polite.
Negatives:
The heat didn't really work at all during my visit, and it went into the 30s outside at night. I had to call the front desk about 4 times to get any relief. They offered to bring me a space heater and instead brought me a kettle, then a fan, then eventually they brought a weak space heater after 3 calls. The shower flooded the room while waiting for the water to heat up (it was fully enclosed so I guess it just wasn't sealed properly?) I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but I didn't.

Positives:
location, blue bottle on site, lots of seating in lobby. efficient use of small space. Steamer included.
Nice bar and restaurant. Lots to offer for being so boutique. Bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
There was an odd situation when I arrived, had to wait 15 mins and was told to sit down and there was an issue and they had to get the manager. I was worried we had no room as they asked me twice if I had already been to the room ( I clearly had not). Everything ended up fine and the manager said there was a system issue, but it was just very strange and uncomfortable that I was not given info.
Rooms are small, but expected. Not super loud street noise, but you can hear the hallways. Room is dark, but it is a place to crash.

Positives:
The room was cozy and clean. Warm and comfortable with complimentary slippers. I loved the view, windows, shades, comfy bed. Loved the restaurant and their staff. The lobby area was great.
Negatives:
The barista serving coffee and selling pastry was a bit snobby and kind of a bummer.

Positives:
The rooms are well decorated with high-quality finishes & linens. Beds were very comfortable. . Lobby Cafe served a wonderful breakfast + lower level bar are nice features.
Negatives:
I had SEVERAL problems w/my room & service over the long wkd I spent at the Walker. None of the episodes were in themselves egregious, but the repeated problems & lack of proper response from staff REPEATEDLY made the stay frustrating.
I checked into a King room intending to share it w/my 28 yr old daughter. The room was SO TIGHT, the bed is wedged into the end of the room with ZERO space to even walk around 3 sides of the bed. The bathroom is so narrow that the sink was outside of it. There was NO way 2 adult women w/luggage could comfortably share that space...so I had to add a 2d room for my daughter. Then...my room @ check-in had a safe that was locked OPEN & had a privacy shade (to the street looking into windows of the office bldg across the street) that was not working. That was the 1st service call...which b/c I had no safe I had to wait around for.
On the 2d day of my stay (a Sat.), no daily room servicing was done, despite my leaving the room before 9am & being out most of the day. Upon my return, I requested AT LEAST clean towels to get ready for evening plans. It took so long to get them I was delayed & almost late to my dinner reservation. It required repeated calls to a rather surly woman @ the front desk; NO apology for ANY of the mistakes, oversights or INconvenience.
