The room was dirty. The sheets and blanket were dirty. The furniture was broken. The bathroom ceiling was leaking.
The bathtub looked like it had never been washed. We complained to the front desk and they changed or room to another dirty room but this one at least had a clean sheet and a non-leaking roof. This room also had a leaking refrigerator

Location 5 minutes away from Amtrak train station in Albany-Rensellear
Negatives:
No blanket or comforter on the bed, just a thin sheet and bed spread for cold winter in Albany, NY.
A sign at the front desk stated they regretted to inform that breakfast was no longer available.

UNSAFE LOCATION
Positives:
My room was cheap and spacious, and the location is close to downtown Albany. There was plenty of parking, and check-in times were flexible. I'm not sure if this is 100% in the "pro" category, but I booked a room with a king-sized bed and when I arrived the room had a king and two doubles.
Negatives:
This location no longer serves breakfast. The furniture in the room was worn and somewhat damaged, the shower in the bathroom appeared dirty, and the curtains of one window did not fully cover the window, which was unsettling in a first-floor room. I also had trouble finding the room because the building did not appear to have any markings on the outside indicating which room numbers were inside.
