Quality Inn & Suites Boone - University Area

Negatives: Place is starting to look a little worn, Coffee at breakfast was really really weak and horrible had to go across the street to coffee shop for decent cup. Pillows are starting to get worn. noise outside of room was enough that it was noticeable. The noise was coming from out side and from the room next door.

Negatives: Indoor pool was way too hot! Couldn’t even enjoy. Being in the actual pool was okay ( felt like a hot tub) but if you were just sitting in there, it was miserable.

Negatives: The pillows are too small. The bathroom outlet was loose and the dryer would not stay plugger in.

Negatives: The staff was fine for the most part. The breakfast was as expected. However, the noise in my room was constant... the heater digital display was broken. I couldn't tell how hot it was until I finally turned off the system. The little clock that's still in there in this day & age made all sorts of noises even though I turned the volume all the way down. I noticed mold / mildew in the bathroom as well. When I had breakfast before I checked out, I spoke with another person who stayed, he commented it was a nice place for the eighties... I'm grateful for a place to stay but it needs updating.

Negatives: Beds weren't comfortable to much noise on the outside our heater air conditioner was making an awful noise. The ironing board was falling off wall. Then bathroom fan didn't work. No body st front desk. If you could catch them somewhere you could get att.

Negatives: Breakfast was quite crowded

Negatives: Whirlpool was nasty, shoe print on side (see pictures below) Some of the staff were very nice and would make sure we had what we needed, then there were other staff members who were rude and didn't have customer service manners. Ask 2 different members of front desk for extra towels one said get from house keeping when they were on the floor the following morning (husband & I weren't there when housekeeping was) the other one gave us towels back for the dirty ones we had but only gave us 1 each of towels, washcloth, & hand towel (2 towels, 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels). We stayed at this location for 9 days and the last 3 we had the only 2 towels that were given to us from the one front desk clerk b/c the other clerk would not give us towels, washcloths, or hand towels (4) b/ said we needed to get them from the housekeeper when they were on the floor, it wasn't there place to give us those essentials for the room. As I said, my husband & I were not there during the same hours as the housekeepers were, so we couldn't get the essential things we needed for our stay from the housekeeper. Mark, the girl on nights (night auditor) and the long hair guy on nights (night auditor) were all 3 amazing and would help any way they could(wish we would have as for towels from them), the older lady, the gentleman with the accent, and the other lady (all day time people) were rude and the 2 of them are ones who we ask for towels (only getting 2 of each) but wouldn't give us any more then those. The older lady is rude, I asked to add another night to stay here, and she replied,'No ma'am we will not, we sold the room for tonight to another customer.' I ask to reserve another room (without whirlpool) older lady replied, 'no ma'am we are completely booked tonight, you need to check out today understand!

Negatives: Need better breakfast and it ran out of food early
