It was a pleasant stay.

Positives: This was one of the utmost very best ever Choice Hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Trust me because I’ve stayed at over hundreds of different hotels throughout my life. The beautiful majestically scenic views here of the Blue Ridge Smokey Mountains. The price was under $100 dollars, which was cheaper than most local hotels. The great benefits from their Choice Hotel rewards program. The secluded privacy & peaceful quietude. The house keeping was extra attentive to ensure the room was always clean on a daily basis, despite us not needing house keeping (cleaning services) such as average hotel guests, who are usually very messy. I’m the type of hotel guest who typically takes care of my own dirtiness and I clean my own messes, throw out my own garbage, and keep everything neatly-organizationally-tidy. The hotel staff was accommodating in a mutually respectful way with my unique way of using digital visa debit cards for purchases situation. The staff was professional, polite, kind, caring, and extra helpful especially during check-in process.
Negatives: Honest Review (Opinion): Regardless of this minor issue, I’m thankful free breakfast was available. Problem: Small breakfasts! Too many processed sugary-starchy gluten foods. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem to average hotel residents. Yet I’m allergic some dairy, artificially-processed-sugars, and especially certain grains, which most grains particularly contain hidden ingredients with excessive gluten. This Econo Lodge needs real cooked (warmed & heated) scrambled eggs & more varieties of fresh fruit! Plus Nondairy milk like almond, coconut, oat nut milk because there are people that’re sensitive to dairy, especially at breakfast time! This is a dietary problem unique to someone such as myself because of how sensitive I am to certain foods. I’m not the only one who’s normally used to drinking non-dairy (nut infused) milks. Despite this problem, the hotel staff, especially during check-in was exceptionally accommodating and mutually understanding. The pet fee was way much more money per day than I realized! At first we completely forgot there was a mandatory pet fee. Then we were annoyingly hassled to pay this fee by being threatened to get kick out (forceably checked out) if we didn’t pay it immediately. At the time this occurred, my partner & I truthfully didn’t have the money for any pet-fee because we needed to save our funds for gas-money, which was meant to be used for emergency medical operations at a military hospital that was over 1 hour away (2-3 hours round trip). Wish there was one flat-rate-pet-fee. Instead of an overly expensive $25 dollar per night costly price, there needs to be a capped-maximum-limit like $100 dollars for an entire hotel stay. Especially if guests stay longer than 5 days (over a week) with their respective pets.

Excellent Scenic Mountain Views -...

Positives: Peaceful quietude & secluded privacy. I truly enjoyed the beautiful mountainously majestic uplifting scenic views. Upon a wonderful balcony, while breathing serene mountain fresh air. Cheaper (under $---) inexpensive prices per night! Conveniently located
Negatives: Honest opinion: Little breakfast options.Too much starchy-bready-induced foods, which had too many carbs & processed ingredients. Im allergic to gluten that unhealthily affects me. More wholesome freshly warmed meals: Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, muffins.

Negatives: Honest opinion: What I didnt like about Econo Lodge: Little breakfast options. Too much starchy-bready-induced foods, which had too many carbs & processed ingredients. Ideally there needs to be more warmed & cooked meals: Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, etc.
