Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

Room had been redone and was clean and comfortable. It was on the first floor, as requested.
Negatives:
I was surprised that there was no breakfast available - only coffee! I was traveling with a small dog. I carry my own baggies, but there was no disposal can in the back area.

The area was not bad.
Negatives:
The cleanliness of the facility, or at least our room, was not up to par. We had to go purchase our own cleaning supplies to clean everything, down to the walls that had bodily fluids on them, along with the bed skirts and other things. The bathroom had not been wiped down at all. If it had not been for this, the stay would have been much better.

Overall, accomodations were excellent. Loved the coffee!!! Location was ideal for our plans to visit relatives and friends.
Negatives:
Water pressure in shower is low. Difficult to turn water to "off" to prevent water from a continuous drip. Commode also continues to run water . Waste of water.
