Positives: I only stayed 4 hours. For $138 my stay was the worst most uncomfortable 4 hrs I've ever spent in ANY hotel. The TV didn't work until maintenance worked on in twice. The air conditioner didn't work. My dog and I were tired and overheated when we got to hotel. After maintenance worked on AC until numerous times they sprayed wd 40 and said it was fixed. It wasn't and now we were getting sick sweating and smelling oil. The front desk offered a fan which never came. After 4 hours we couldn't take it anymore and checked out. What a waste of time and $
Negatives: Read above. There was not one thing I liked about this expensive pointless stay.

Positives: Location Breakfast That they allowed pets. We did not take a pet with us this visit but it was good to know.
Negatives: Value. Paid more than we usually pay because we thought we were getting a DELUXE King but it was just a usual room. Basically no where to sit except on bed or an uncomfortable basic straight back chair. Very noisy. No sleep first night due to people above us. Next day had to go out and buy noise cancelling earbuds to ensure l could sleep. Need to update signs in hotel room. Don’t ask your customers to throw towels on floor to get them changed when in fact no one is cleaning your room during your two night stay. We found out the hard way and had to visit lobby to collect towels, coffee , cups etc

Positives: I loved the fact that it was clean and the staff were friendly. I was debited twice because I used a 3rd party to book the room. The stay were very polite, friendly and helpful and I was able to get my refund. I'll give the a five star. Overall, I would recommend LA Quinta!
Negatives: The only thing I didn't like, especially my husband, who kept complaining about it, was the temperature of the water. It was cold and warm, and there was no hot water. We couldn't have a hot bath since the hot water only gets warm and not hot. We really needed a hot bath because it was snowy and windy the day we got there.

Positives: Friendly staff. Breakfast room was large. Good location. Clean room. Comfortable bed.
Negatives: I had booked two originally. Then, separately I booked an additional room. The second booking was supposed to have been canceled. I canceled it from the VA Hospital in Minneapolis because I knew at that point the third room would not be used due to an unexpected family death. Because I was on my mobile phone, I did everything from the hospital. When we checked in Saturday, April 13, shortly after 3:00pm, we were told by the LaQuinta staff that they had not received a cancellation notice from Booking.com. I was very respectful & asked them to please release the room, which they immediately did. They thanked me, but told me, they could not reimburse me for the room that should have been canceled. They said that can only be done by you. I sent multiple emails immediately, replying from emails I received from Booking.com seeking help. Two emails stated I had timed out after explaining in detail what had happened. I sent another email, & never heard back from anyone. I did ask a staff person Saturday (yesterday) if the cancelled room had been booked, she told me LaQuinta was completed 100% booked. In fact, they turned people away. This morning before we checked out, I spoke with the front desk person & asked her what I should do. She told me this was not the first time they had had this happen & Booking.com, she thought, will reimburse us. I do not know what happened with you canceling the third room, but I am seeking reimbursement for the third room that has already been charged to our VISA card. Our brother died at the VA Hospital, yet, I was responsible enough to cancel the room during a devastating time. It leaves me questioning where the disconnect happened? I made several attempts to contact someone for your assistance, to no avail. We have booked several times through you, & have also had excellent experiences. Please help me resolve this problem.
