Excellent staff at front desk make you feel welcome! The hotel itself is a little oddball, room was spacious (except for the bathroom)
Negatives:
In general, the hotel is tired looking and could use a major refresh. Rooms are dark, there are few lights in the room, can be difficult for travellers with macular degeneration, who need better lighting in order to see.

Positives:
I love the privacy and the jacuzzi in the room. Fast food is less than 5 min drive. Went on a Sunday so Duffy was closed, but the pizza is good and the bar is nice from the last time we visited. This is our 2nd year here and we plan on making it a tradition.

I really liked the room. It was almost like having an one bedroom apartment for a couple days. It was very clean and the bed was not as hard as a brick or like sleeping on the floor. Price was good!
Negatives:
The drain in tub was very slow to drain and backed up while showering. I would’ve liked to have a broom, mop or vacuum to clean up leaves that was packed in on our shoes. There was no daily maid service for clean towels (unless you walked your dirty towels to the office to switch them) but I understand being under staffed.
