Being upgraded without paying extra is always nice. They did do that much for me.

The room I was put in was in a really weird spot, right next to some double doors that made the entry really tight. There was no outlet cover on the outlet in the bedroom.
I was only staying two nights. When I woke up the first morning my toilet wouldn't flush right, and the sink wasn't draining. I called the desk to tell them I would be gone all day, and would appreciate housekeeping or someone coming up to fix those things, and that I did not want to change rooms. I got back to my room later than I wanted, and expected those things to be fixed and they weren't. When I called the front, he said the girl had written a note to change my room, which is what I told her I did not want to do. To have to change rooms for only one more night was frustrating when they were likely simple fixes. Having to repack just to unpack for one night was a massive waste of my evening.
This hotel was "good enough" as it was. This is enough for me to find somewhere else to stay next time, even if it's a little bit more expensive.
