Phone didn't work and lights in bathroom didn't work. It was a last minute booking and we were only there one night so didn't bother to pursue getting it corrected

Positives:
We liked that there was a jetted tub. My husband had knee surgery so he was looking forward to it. We like the river view and fireplace. It's a spacious room.
Negatives:
The bed was really lumpy. Not a comfortable bed at all. There was a partial roll of toilet paper and we didn't notice there was no extra roll. There was someone's left over soap in the shower so I don't think the room was really cleaned.

When I arrived to check in I waited at the front desk for over 30 min and did not see anyone around and I had already been on the road for several hours and this was approx 1030 pm if I couldn't get help I didn't want to risk staying there.
I would not stay there.

Dirty rooms, giant hole in sofa bed mattress, garbage on sofa bed mattress, towels for two when we had four on the reservation, no sheets or blankets for sofa bed, broken shower door, no lightbulb in the lamp, no smoke detector where there should have been one and random wires sticking out of the ground. Office manager was very rude and difficult to talk to. We did not feel safe here.

Nothing on this (our last) visit.
Negatives:
We arrived in our room (after unloading our car) to find that the TV did not work. So I was going to call the front desk but found out that the phone didn't work. We reloaded everything back into our car went to the office for a full refund and left. Very disappointing. Also they have a closed up restaurant and dont serve breakfast.

It's the perfect location. And the grounds are well kept.
Negatives:
The rooms are very wore out and not very clean. The screen door was laying on the patio and when I had to pull out the night stand to plug in the light it was filthy back there with garbage and even a water bottle back behind it.

The room was filthy; sand all over the carpet and the carpet also had stains all over it. The room was in disrepair and the young man at the desk did not greet us and yawned without covering his mouth when I asked a question. He seemed very disinterested in his job.
