I was awoken at 8am asking if I wanted to pay additional fee for late check-out. I had already paid for the room until 11 am. The first room they put us in looked out on to a brick wall about 4 feet away. We had to pay additional fee in order to see the sky from our window. Although they are across from the river, it is across a busy road and you are unable to get to the river walk. Although they take dogs, there is no place to walk your dog.

I loved how clean my room and bathroom was. I was pleasantly surprised! It’s actually WAY better than the Hayward Hotel across campus. I also enjoyed the kitchen and living area it had. I will definitely be booking here again! Also, the staff was EXCEPTIONAL!

I liked the room and kitchenette and the laundry facility. it was a good location for me.

The manager Leslie has an unethical practice of raising room rates as booking.com allows hotel managers to raise room rates once you hit the select button for, in my example, $129/night on booking.com. I had an emergency visit for one week where I didn’t catch the raised room rate when I booked on booking.com and also when I arrived at hotel and signed in. Upon leaving the hotel, i asked for a receipt and saw (unfortunately too late) that I was charged $455 for my first night at the hotel. Leslie told me that I should read contracts, as she does. She was not open to discussing the situation and I felt she was inhospitable, unpleasant and even had projected a mean and terse tone in our conversation. It was a total disappointment to speak with her at the end of my stay. She didn’t even thank me for staying at the hotel.
