Negatives:
Even though it is a smoke-free property, the room smelled a bit like smoke. When I asked for the room to be serviced, was told that a request needed to be made 24 hours in advance. This wasn’t explained at check-in. When I did request and it still wasn’t cleaned, I was told it was because I didn’t let the front desk know I was leaving and “you can’t be in the room when we clean.” So the actual policy is a 24-hour request AND you have to let the front desk know when you’re leaving. Hard to do when several times during the day, no one was at the front desk…just a sign with a number to call for assistance. The rules should be explained at check in.
