Negatives: Wish there was complimentary coffee. Restaurant menu limited and very pricey.

Negatives: The room was nice enough but the outdoor areas were the best part

Negatives: My party of four opted to eat our first dinner at your main restaurant at the hotel. We had traveled half a day to get to Hilton Head with friends, so we were tired and wanted to stay put after a long drive. Things seemed to be going well until our server delivered the wrong entree to me. My wife and our two friends heard what I ordered, so the server had put in the wrong order. I decided to accept what she brought and enjoyed the food. When we were ready to leave, we had asked her to split the total bill half and half. when she returned with the bills, mine was for the correct amount, but my friends was for the entire amount for both couples. I took both bills to her and she had her manager correct the two bills. Two days later, I was reviewing my debit card charges and saw that I had been double charged for the meal. My friend had charged his bill to his room, and it was correct. I reported the error to the front desk and was told that the accounting department would look into it and be in touch with me. Later that afternoon, the front desk texted me that the error was located and that an that a correction would be made. As of today, October 9th, I have yet to receive my credit for the mistake. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth since the hotel has had sufficient time to post a correction.

Negatives: Overpriced. Nothing included in the stay. Wheres as other resorts include amenities for the same price.

Negatives: The views from many of the rooms are of or over a parking lot. This is not adequately described. the property describes the views as resort, garden and ocean. The hallways are dark. Areas need updating especially hallways which is old and soiled carpet. Ocean beach chairs are provided by lifeguards for44 dollars per day. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas for less but guests must take them to beach and return which is a hike. There is no restaurant with ocean views.

Negatives: The check in process was ABYSMAL! After working & long drive, arrived exhausted and was checked in and received our key. Found a parking space and dragged luggage up to roomONLY TO FIND OUT that the room that They gave us was NOT the room that was booked. Calls to front from THREE separate numbers AND Omni customer service dispatch went unanswered for 20 minutes. So we loaded up all of our luggage again and made the track back to the lobby in the car. Only to be told oh we sold out of that type of room. HOW?!?? IF I BOOKED THE ROOM AND MADE A RESERVATION. Are you booking more expensive rooms than you have available. I ended up with a cheaper room and had to advocate to receive the price adjustment. The front desk attendee Maria was extremely kind and understanding; however, the manager Lucy did not introduced herself by name but only Im the manager when she overheard me ask for one. All of this the night before I am schedule to be up bright and early for class at the conference I was in town for. So frustrating and absolutely unnecessary if they just honest accident reservations. As a gold level guest with Omni.No thanks Omni Oceanfront Hilton Head.
