We LOVED the whole set up of the room. We felt exactly like we were in a small apartment instead of a hotel. The ceilings are tall and makes the rooms feel more spacious and not so cramped like many other hotels we have stayed at. We loved the idea of the hotel key in the slot by the door to activate the lights in the room- we thought that was such a neat and smart idea. The beds were so comfortable. The hotel is so close to EVERYTHING. We felt so relaxed and at peace staying here. My 4 year old did not want to leave the location, he begged us to stay another night LOL. It's safe to say we have already booked another stay for Mother's Day weekend. We will always come back here when visiting Franklin.

We had to have someone come in and adjust the air conditioning. The property has it set so that you have a limited range of control. Also, the air control requires that you move every so often. The sensor is out of the bedroom, so the heat came on during the night.

Only thing I would change...
Positives:
Lovely very clean hotel. Very easy to get to. Check in was quick and pleasant. Room seemed to be very clean and bed was comfy enough. Breakfast was okay. Good selections but nothing to take to the room to eat. Hot foods weren't very hot and we arrived to eat just after the breakfast opened.
Negatives:
It seemed the food could have been warmer. Our room had no luggage rack to set up so we had to use the floor. Quite a nuisance as the room had plenty of room to set up one or two racks and would have been so handy. The bathroom had no towel bars, only a ring by the sink. When you hung up the towel it draped into the sink, which was soon a nuisance. The shower door was so high you could hardly toss your towel on top to dry. And the seal on the door was put on backwards so the water came out on the bathroom floor when the door opened. Nice mess. Surprised this wasn't changed four years ago. Also, the area around the sink was so small it was not convenient at all. Disappointing as all was lovely but not handy.
