Super 8 by Wyndham Abilene South

Negatives: Perhaps ya'll can find some kind of answer to fix that rear/side door. I enjoy the convenience of the location, however it is always broken and people smoke in that back part of hotel. I am allergic to that smoke and it makes it very difficult to breathe. I'm sure that ya'll can come up with a way to secure that area,

Negatives: Unfriendly staff, both at check-in in the evening and in the morning at check-out. Thin walls, noisy.

Negatives: When I showed up to the hotel to check in I asked about the pool if it was open and they said no. So I asked will it be ready for Saturday they said yes but when I went to check it out the pool was dirty. And today we were checking out and no one was at the desk. I always wait to give them the key card just in case. But we were waiting there for a bit along other guests.

Negatives: Place is filthy. There’s a bag of trash in the lobby when we checked in. Trash also in the elevator. We waited for about 20 minutes to check in because there’s nobody in the front desk. I rang the staff twice but no answer. The linens doesn’t smell fresh and seems used. Pillows are very old and disintegrated. No available syrup for the pancakes on our breakfast. Coffee thermos was empty and had to wait for a long time for the refill. I’m will not try any Wyndham managed hotel again.

Negatives: They cancelled our booking day of at the last minute because they overbooked. Said they would not charge me because it was due to them, yet took money from my account and still has yet to return my money it’s been a month! Be careful where you book!! Don’t book here. Not the first having a terrible experience should have learned the first time. Someone even entered my mother’s room in the middle of the night. How do they even have a key in the first place?? They did nothing about it after looking at camera footage. She was lucky that time.
