The river view of the Austin city skyline was outstanding. It was so beautiful in the evening sitting on the back outdoor venue looking over the river watching the boats and kayaks.
Negatives:
The font entrance was underwhelming, but once you walk through to the riverside all is redeemed.

Positives:
We enjoyed the location near the river and the Congress Avenue bat bridge. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby and elevators were clean. Walkable to South Congress.
Negatives:
The vents in the ceiling at the top of the atrium are very dirty. They appear very hard to reach, but when a guest sees that, they wonder what else might not be getting cleaned.
The price was a little high, nearly $500/night for standard sized room with two beds.

The Hot water was out my entire stay. The hotel did not keep their guests informed. I was told the water would be working in the morning to no avail and not new update or eta. But hey they gave me a free mountain for my cold showers. will not recommend this hotel based on no communication. If i'm paying, i should receive at least one update.

Positives:
The location in central Austin is excellent. You can quickly find food, entertainment, and lake activities. In addition, higher floors have excellent views of the city skyline.
Negatives:
There are hidden expenses. The self-parking is over 50.00. Valet is more. The bar is overpriced as well. Be prepared to spend. One does not get much for the additional costs.
