Positives: Comfortable bed. Convenient location. The one staff member during check in was friendly.
Negatives: WiFi connection was poor when it worked, and usually didn't work - one phone often couldn't find the network at all, and the other phone often got dropped from it. The room didn't have a blow dryer at first so we had to ask for one. When wiping up a wet spot on the floor, we realized the floor was filthy. Being on the first floor near the lobby and elevator, staff were very loud at midnight and again at 6am, literally yelling to each other next to the elevator and playing very loud music in the lobby that we could hear even with our door shut. Staff was friendly at check in, but dismissive of us at other times and continued their casual conversation between each other while helping us during check out. We were put in a room with a connecting door to the next room (whose occupants we did not know) and there was complete noise transfer between the two rooms. We could literally hear every word of every conversation and were woken up one morning by their 7am alarm. The opposite side of our room backed up to the ice machine which we could hear every time it was used. Our room flooded... or something like it? Getting back to the hotel one night we noticed our socks were wet after walking around the room. We looked more closely and saw that when we stepped on the vinyl tile flooring, water squeezed up between the tiles from underneath. Looking even more closely, there seemed to be black mold between the edges of the tiles in the wettest part of the room which made us think this isn't the first time this has happened. By the end of the night our socks were fully soaked and we had to lay them out to dry. The bathroom floor was dry, so the cause wasn't a curtain issue while bathing. Maybe the tub is leaky or the ice machine next to our room was leaky? In any case - a very unpleasant experience.

Positives: The hotel was near places to eat.
Negatives: I don't know if the room was intended for people who needed wheelchairs. There was nothing that separated the shower floor from the bathroom floor. To me this was a hazard. I don't remember asking for an accommodations room. There were parts of the hotel that appeared to still be under renovations. There was no bottled water provided in the room as an amenity.

Positives: About the only good thing is the size of the room. And the bathroom was okay.
Negatives: There's an irritating smell in the hotel. Restaurant and Bar were closed. WiFi did not work on 5th floor for the first day, even after I mentioned it to the reception. The safe does not work and I was told "Sorry, the safes never worked since we took over this property a year ago." The breakfast is a bad joke - no bread, just some muffins, sugar coated cereals and waffles, the most disgusting "coffee" I drank in years. Th AC in the room was as noisy and loud as a bus. Window could barely be opened.
