Never made the trip. My father had a stroke and was hospitalized 10/16.

I was traveling to New Braunfels Tx for a wedding. My 85 y/o father had a stroke and was hospitalized 10/16. I had to make a decision due to his condition on Monday
10/23 not to attend the wedding. The General manager, Abraham , refused to refund this one night stay of approximately $150.00. He also would never return my calls and would have his associates to call me. I also had reservations in New Braunfels for 4 nights.
They graciously refunded my $927.00
due to the my situation.
For Hotels , The Hinton organization has always been my go to. It’s concerning there is a manager employed thru Hilton that has no concerns for his customers.
I am a retired insurance agent of 40 years and our clients were always serviced in a professional manner.
I just hope the Hilton organization is not headed in the direction of Abraham.
Also documentation can be provided for my father’s stroke.

The location was great. The only thing that I didnt like is I look forward to having waffles when husband and I come, first morning no waffle iron. But I must say the young lady at front desk put waffle iron out after us asking about it on our last day but we had to check out before she could finish setting up.
