I did not like that there were dogs in the hotel. I heard dogs barking loudly at 5:30 am.

The staff was far too talented for this facility. True hospitality professionals.
Negatives:
Black mold in the bathroom. Changed rooms and still mold and mold around all the AC vents, peeling wall paper, very noisy from the floor above. The wind whistled around the windows howling like a haunted house.

Next night was a Staybridge in Portland, Tx. across the bay. Like a Palace, branding is important!

Staff was AMAZING & I didnt get the managers name but he was very nice & understanding. The whole crew went above & beyond. Nice & clean! Located in a great area! We ate on REAL plates with real silverware & the breakfast was awesome.

The desk staff were great. Location is great.

Breakfast was ok. Not a lot of options. What I REALLY didn't like was being charged $186.66 too much for my room. Nor do I like having even more than that "pending" on my card but supposedly it will adjust in 7-14 business days. Oh, and the "resort" fee they tacked on was irritating even if it was less than $5 a day. I also really disliked the attitude when I called them about it.

The pictures were a bit deceiving, I would say the only area that matched the pictures on the site was the breakfast area. I was very disappointed in how the room looked like I was being admitted into a nursing home. The rooms were depressing and outdated

After a bad experience at another hotel we decided to book here and not only did they check us in early. They also waived the pet fee for the dog that I had with me who was going to be getting surgery. The room was spacious the breakfast was excellent.
Negatives:
I will definitely stay here again I give this place an overall 10 plus and I want to send a special thank you to hotel employees the two kind ladies that treated us like family.
