Overall a good experience staying...
Positives:
I liked the breakfast. wide-screen TV, design of the room. Heated water in the swimming pool made it possible to use it on a cold day.
Negatives:
Swimming pool 10 feet from the highway was of a surprise. It was not 100% clean. Water in jacuzzi was blurry - perhaps due to the water bubles. Highway was pretty loud.

Great location, downtown Moab, easy walk to some great restaurants. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, good choices, I liked the Blueberry waffle and the Jimmy Dean egg and sausage biscuits. I recommend Expedition Lodge.

Great place to stay while...
Positives:
It was great having breakfast ready to pick up and be able to head straight out to the parks. The lodge was located pretty centrally in the town of Moab and we were able to walk most places.
Negatives:
We can’t think of anything negative about our stay at Expedition Lodge. It exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our first time in Moab!

Convenient location for a quick stop over & easy walk to restaurants for dinner.
Negatives:
I booked the room on Booking.com & the cost was approximately $143 plus taxes for 1 night. I checked my credit card account a few days later & the hotel charged me $263. Sent them an email about it but didn’t get any response. This motel is not worth $263/night & I never would have booked it if Booking.com had indicated that was the cost. Very disappointed (and I was traveling for a family medical emergency not just a fun night in Moab

Positives:
Room was clean, retro on purpose... Which can be considered cute. Breakfast was alright, good seating, small food selection. Game room looked cool but we didn't use it. Staff was nice, breakfast attendant quiet but super nice.
Negatives:
Pool and hot tub are right on main road with absolutely NO privacy screens or fencing, just bars straight open to the public, absolutely not welcoming whatsoever, cool looking slide or no. Work on installing a tall privacy fence and guests will actually use it.. Microwave was infuriating to try to get to work. Could have used another blanket on the beds, felt like 2 thin sheets.
We decided on this trip no more motels... Works for some, just not us. Checked out early & got a hotel.
