Any current review (April 2024) may not be valid for long, as the property has just changed hands 2 weeks ago and is beginning an extensive renovation. We were in one of the not-yet renovated rooms.
That being said ---
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Located an easy walk (about 1 mile gradual uphill) to the Park entrance, and located in the midst of most of the local eateries and coffee shops.
Large pool, but I did not get a chance to enjoy it.
Plenty of parking.
W-fi worked great (with logon, so somewhat secure)
There are some benches where you can sit and get great views of the sunset against the rock canyon wall (see photo)
Negatives:
Our king room had only two drawers for clothing.
There was only one desk chair, and the sofa was not a convenient place for sharing anything on the desktop (snacks, small meals, etc)
The window coverings were either open to let in the light or total black-out. Sheers would have been nice so as to have some light with hints of privacy.
Our room was very dark, with dark rug, and the lights focused on the corners or at the bedside, the rest of the room was gloomy at best.
The shower/tub plumbing seemed to float in the wall--when we turned off using the valve, the whole thing moved behind the wall. The water flow was ok, and it did not leak, just wiggled when touched (cheap job).
But, maybe these will be addressed during the renovation. I hope so.

Positives:
This place was AMAZING. The nicest hotel I've been to! The views of Zion are amazing. We got the cheapest room and had a huge closet, rainfall shower head and amazing accommodations! The room was very clean and clearly updated recently. The town of Springdale is amazing. This hotel is walking distance to everything and you can take the shuttle right to Zion! There's no question that we will be back. Even if this place is a little more than others STAY HERE. You won't regret it!
Negatives:
Laundry room was under renovations so we had to use the laundromat bit it was right near the hotel (walking distance)
Also no big trash can in the room but we didn't mind!

Spectacular views from anywhere on property. Newly renovated rooms. Staff was nice. Beautiful pool area.

Biggest issue is we booked a room at La Quinta but the name and ownership changed between booking and arrival with no notification so we couldn’t find the hotel when we arrived. Ongoing construction was quite loud at times. Insufficient seating in breakfast room. Breakfast was decent but nothing was labeled so you just had to guess what was in things like the eggs and muffins.

The facilities are not up to the standard, the property is undergoing a management change and hence everything seems chaotic. Breakfast was okay, with a decent selection, but not enough seating. Housekeeping is very spotty.
