It had a modern, clean feel. Appreciate having space for a family of 5.
Negatives:
The bed was not comfortable at all, which was surprising given how new the hotel is. There was already a huge dip in it as if someone very heavy had slept on it for weeks. Also, there was no fan in the bathroom which was odd.

Nice and clean hotel on the side of Pembroke mall. Well located in the middle of VA Beach/Norfolk. Many food options around
Negatives:
The rooms facing the road gets noisy. Traffic and/or emergency vehicles on VA Beach boulevard and independence road are loud including sirens even late at night.

Positives:
Location was great for what I was there for and there was plenty of stuff withing walking distance food/convenience etc. Breakfast had all the essential food groups available. No Bacon!! Which was probably a good thing because i was able to resist the sausage most mornings. (Would not have been the case with bacon).
Negatives:
Just a blip with the check in process, a couple got checked into my room a half hour after i got checked in so led to a bit of confusion.

Queen beds in the room. Issue with them cleaning the room. Housekeeping staff had a hard time understanding what was being said.

The breakfast was fine, we had to wait several minutes for items to be restocked because there were a lot of people at the hotel so breakfast took a lot longer than anticipated. If you were in a rush you'd have to skip it. The staff there was wonderful and was working hard to keep up. The hotel location was close to many things.
Negatives:
The pool was very small for such a large hotel and it looks into the parking lot. The elevators had some issues as well but if you weren't in a hurry it was no big deal.
