AC Hotel by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown

Negatives: Only expensive valet parking , door battery died and got locked out of room. Could use a bit of color in decor…all gray . Would love softer sheets

Negatives: Valet parking is hysterical $49/day. Parking in garage on the other side of the street was $25/night.

Negatives: Breakfast buffet. Choose a la carte for good value.

Negatives: We were given a room that was for deaf or hard of hearing people? Why? I have great hearing. The hotel was not even close to full, there were plenty of other rooms to place us. Since the room accommodates people who can’t hear well they are located right by the elevator and all night and day I had to listen to the elevator bells ring and the cables clanking inside the wall of our room. At 330am, 4, 5, bells dinging loudly as the elevator arrived and left the floor. I did not sleep at all, in fact, one of the worst nights of sleep ever in a hotel. And I kept wondering why? When I checked I asked why? The staff had no reason-was perplexed . She said she would talk to the manager but no one has reached out to me and I was given no explanation. Did the front desk not like me? Was this done on purpose? Not a good feeling. I will not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

Negatives: They didn’t really clean the room and Pillows wasn’t comfortable

Negatives: Cleaning: fell short of my experience in major chain hotels around the world. Over the entire stay I couldn't get them to service the room properly (always something missing, or skipped entirely). They seem to check only once and if for any reason you leave the room slightly later (at 10am or so) don't come. When they do come I've found towels ignored on the floor (which they ask you to do for replacement) possibly because they may have sent someone else to tidy up late, empty tissue boxes instead of replenished, and even ran out of shower gel right after a full - not refresh - service (so even the soap wasn't refilled). Four front desk staff were unable to provide a way to sleep undisturbed until past 9.30, leave past 10, and still have the room done. They were apologetic but did not seem particularly interested in fixing the situation, or at least were ineffective in doing so. In the end I was disturbed 1 hour before my wake up time every day (as they asked me not to use the privacy sign or they'd skip the room), one day without any cleaning, one with towels on the floor, one without soap, and two additional days without cleaning as part of the holiday plan. And I had to abort a shower mid way.
