Positives:
The hotel was a great location for our purpose of our trip.
When we arrived to our room, we were hit with a very strong wet dog smell. When I told the desk attendant, she immediately offered us a new room, which we took.
Negatives:
The hotel is old, it looks like a cosmetic makeover has been attempted, but that’s all it is. A cover up. The place is old and worn. Far too expensive for the condition of the establishment.
There was no helpful information for finding our way around the area, or things to do while in the area. Lots of travel pamphlets for places 100’s of miles away, but nothing for the area. When I mentioned this to the front desk employee, her reply, I am just the front desk clerk. I told her I understood that, but she could share with her manager. She was less than interested innour suggestion.
We were charged a deposit of 20.00 for incidentals?? There was nothing on Booking.com for this, nor were there any incidental we could have used. Why?
The breakfast area was the biggest disappointment. We were there 40 min before they closed, and there were limited amounts available. No one came to restock the food, nor wipe down the tables and serving areas. Very unsanitary in our opinion..

It was actually a very nice place, we loved the pool. And the breakfast, staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
Not an issue with the hotel, but I didn't realize it was so far from where we were visiting family.
Also, when the fire alarm system was going off, seems there was trouble re-setting it, it went off again a couple times.

No coffee for breakfast, the heat and cold were reversed, the pool was closed just after breakfast for a few hours because they had just put chemicals in it. I booked this hotel who was more expensive than others only to have access to an inside pool that I couldn’t use.

Vicious Cycle Bike ride
Positives:
The location was convient and close to where we wanted to go.the staff did a great job at addressing our concerns.
Negatives:
Was noisy the first night and there were a few sketchy characters leaving through the back door on several occasions. Made us a bit concerned for our safety and wondering how theybgot into the hotel.

Staff is very nice and the free breakfast is good! Housekeeping does an excellent job at keeping rooms stocked and cleaned! Great hotel to stay at!

The rooms are priced a little high after staying for more then a week I wish I got more of a discount for extending my stay but overall the hotel is great!

I wish the room had an oven instead of just a stovetop.
