International travelers: Beware the hidden taxes and charges that are not included in the room rates. This is not specific to this hotel but is common to all products and services in the city. It was an unwelcome surprise at check-in to have to pay more than what I thought the rate was. The door to the room needed sound proofing - we could clearly hear conversations in the hallway outside.

The staff was great, it was in a heat wave for Seattle so even nicer for us, was the brining water, and already having 2 in the fridge. The pool was also wonderful, and the shower in the room.

They would not let me pre-arrange and early check in, so we did have to wait around some time.
