Positives: Cheapest room I could find, Good location
Negatives: The place is run down and old. It was fair overall but I think I would rather spend the extra $40 for the Quality Inn next time

Lisamarie review category business travellers April 12, 2024
Positives: The micro is broken and they didn't have the ability to replace it so that was a bummer the continental breakfast was not very continental and it seems like there was a lot of people because of an extended stay that I understand why they couldn't afford to do a continental breakfast for so many people that apparently just live there so but in that the staff was amazing and it's not that I wouldn't use it again if I were to go to Spokane
Negatives: The staff is all super friendly and nice to

Positives: Not much.
Negatives: When I walk into building it smelled of urine. They also charged me for a stained towel that had mascara on it that was not the waterproof kind. So don't understand how it did not comeout.

Exceptional

Positives: Location in N. Spokane is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The only positive is that the clerk at the new hotel said that the owner has purchased the Apple Tree a couple weeks ago and that it was due for a full remodel over the next 3 months.
Negatives: We ended up not staying there and getting another hotel. Still trying to contact the manager to get our refunds. The room wasn't ready when we arrived and they told us 10 minutes and gave us keys. We peeked in and there was NO WAY this suite was going to be cleaned in 10 minutes and the quality of the room was so bad that my elderly mother didn't feel it was safe or clean for 4 women and two children. Additionally, the clientele was shady and since we knew that we would be back late, we were very concerned about staying there as well as parking there. It was supposed to be a three-room suite. I called a bit later to confirm that we would not be staying there and requested refunds. Now I can't get anyone to answer the main phone there. We are likely out over $200. Haven't gotten a response from Booking.com either which also concerns me since we have a couple more upcoming bookings with them.

Positives: Bedding was clean under the comforter. One of the cheaper places I could find in Spokane. It served it's purpose, bed and a shower for the night.
Negatives: Room had horrible cigarette smell, eye watering. Burn holes in comforters. I'm assuming it was a smoking-allowed room, but the smell was overwhelming.
