Our room had mold!! It was older, but still should be cleaned properly and definitely not have mold and dust. I was very concerned but we didn’t get in until late and needed to sleep. I wish I would’ve talked to the manager about it before I left. I wouldn’t stay again unless cleaned properly.

The breakfast wasn't that good, but oh well.
The one thing that I'm questioning is the sheets on the bed. I've stayed in several hotels, and I've never seen sheets that were wrinkled, like the ones on the bed. just on one side. My husband told me not to worry about it, I made him sleep on that side.

I liked the pool area. I called for towels for our room becuase none were left for us and the front desk got them to us quickly.
Negatives:
I didn't like the fact that I requested to check into the room at 1600 hrs. We ended up getting to the hotel at about 1700 hrs. When we got to the hotel, we were not able to check in because they did not have the room ready. We waited almost 45 minutes to be able to check in and then it was another wait for our room to be cleaned. That was probably why there was no towels in our room. The cleaning staff were in a hurry also, when going up to our room the elevator was acting crazy. I think our room was on the 2nd floor and we ended up in the basement and had to take the stairs up to the 2nd floor. This was not very convenient because my husband had surgery on his foot, and he is not supposed to be doing stairs. The air conditioner sounded like it was ready to break down.

I didn't like that the breakfast was just eggs and sausage and no hot water for oatmeal. I did not like the rust on the ceiling of the shower I did not like that there was no ventilation in the pool and hot tub area the condensation from the heat of the hot tub was dripping from the skylight into the hot tub

Breakfast was great, the room that they serve breakfast on the 5th floor was clean and comfortable.
Negatives:
I didn't like that my room was not ready when I arrived at 9 pm. The night manager (who I found out is new) was very overwhelmed and used curse words at her computer. They seemed to have a shortage of bedding and housekeepers.
There is a strong smell of chlorine from the pool when you walk into the lobby. BUT....It is a clean and friendly place.

Downtown area is not where...
Positives:
I have to be honest, I didn't like anything about this hotel.
Negatives:
My family and I did not feel safe. The person working the front desk didn't know how to check us in (long wait) and several drunk men approached my children in the lobby. There was endless sound outside all night. Stains on the sheets. Everything was bad.
