Great proximity with skywalk connection to the Baird Center.
Negatives:
The elevators are antiquated and need to be modernized, expect long wait times. Fitness center is on 7th floor and weights can be heard crashing on the floor in the guestrooms. You might get a king with sleeper sofa if you book a standard room.

No A/C in my room. No refrigerator in my room as well.

Location and most of the staff were really friendly.
Negatives:
The room temp was 78 degrees, and I could not get it down below 76. I did not sleep all night due to the heat. No matter what I tried, the heat would not come down. There was no cool air coming through the air conditioner.

The room was not clean. There was a gown or robe left behind a chair in the room. There was hair all over the floor. The tub drained extremely slow. There were dogs everywhere in the hotel.

Dated and worn furnishings, bathroom lacked cleanliness (mold on ceiling and shower wall). Heat was incredible and left room at 76 degree ambient temperature. No AC available in winter or other way to cool. Front desk advised to switch off blower.

The room was SO hot. Thermostat was set at 84! Absolutely ridiculous. Even after opening the window and turning it off, it was still in the mid-70s.

I did not like the beds were super hard and not comfortable at all. The room had no refrigerator so we could not keep anything that we had brought or bought cold.
